The KickAss 40A 12/24V MPPT Solar Controller uses the latest dual-peak and multi-peak tracking technology available today.
Highly Efficient MPPT
With a tracking efficiency of at least 99.5% and a peak conversion efficiency of 98%, you can be confident that your dual battery system is receiving the optimal charge.
The KickAss 12/24V MPPT Solar Controller series accurately identifies and tracks multiple power points, and includes built-in self-diagnostic technology to help prevent damage from installation and system failures.
Battery Temperature Sensor
Equipped with a temperature sensing probe, the KickAss 12/24V MPPT Solar Controller can limit the current output to your battery, preventing overheating and overcharging if a fault occurs with the connected battery.
LCD Display
The easy-to-read LCD display shows all crucial charging information dynamically (note that the LCD is not backlit).

This device is a charge controller, not a complete battery management system. It is designed to power small accessories like LED lights. However, the load output is dependent on the solar input (daylight and darkness) and does not provide a consistent power supply suitable for running appliances like a fridge or freezer. Therefore, we advise against connecting electronics that need stable and reliable power directly to the MPPT Solar Controller. Instead, all accessories should be connected directly to your battery bank using appropriately fused circuits.
