The new and improved KickAss Canopy Power System takes the hassle out of building a reliable 12V setup. Instead of sourcing multiple components and wiring them together, this upgraded all-in-one unit brings everything into a single, streamlined package that’s easy to install and ideal for DIYers. It integrates your MPPT solar controller, 40A DCDC charger, USB fast-charging outputs, and a fully redesigned wireless 8-gang switching panel.

This latest version now features wireless digital switching, giving you the freedom to control your accessories from a detachable panel you can carry anywhere around your setup. When the switch panel’s battery runs low, simply return it to the magnetic charging dock… it snaps in securely and tops up automatically. The system also includes new Bluetooth monitoring of the DCDC charger, allowing you to connect via the supporting app to configure the device and view real-time charging data such as solar and alternator input current, battery charge current, charging stage, and system alerts.

Engineered for seamless pairing with KickAss Smart Series and KickAss Ultra-X LiFePO₄ batteries, the updated Canopy Power System delivers maximum compatibility, safety, and efficiency. The Canopy System includes a 40A DC-DC charger capable of delivering up to 500W output power with a maximum continuous charging current of 40A. It also features two USB-C 45W ports and two QC3.0 USB-A 18W ports for fast device charging. This means you can efficiently charge your auxiliary battery and power multiple devices simultaneously with reliable, high-capacity output.

Yes, the system includes an 8-gang wireless switch panel that can control up to 8 devices remotely. The panel detaches and docks magnetically to recharge automatically, providing flexible and convenient control of your 12V accessories.
This wireless panel supports up to 720W total power and 60A current, with USB-C and USB-A fast charging ports built in. It’s designed for easy canopy installation and lets you manage lighting, fridges, pumps, and more without running extra wires.

Yes, the KA40A8WSCPSL includes integrated Bluetooth connectivity that pairs with a dedicated app to monitor charging status, battery State of Charge, voltage, current, and estimated time to empty or full in real time.

The Canopy System supports solar input with an integrated MPPT solar charge controller and includes Anderson connectors for easy solar wiring. It also has mounting provisions for an optional KickAss 32A AC charger for plug-and-play shore power charging.

You can power a wide range of 12V devices through the system’s multiple Anderson ports, a 10A fused cigarette socket, and fast USB charging ports (two USB-C 45W and two USB-A QC3.0 18W). The total switch panel load capacity is 720W with a 60A max current.
