Important Note About Jump Starting
Jump starting from the battery box should only be used as a last resort. To avoid damaging your battery:

• Connect alligator clips directly to the flat battery
• Allow the voltage to equalise for 5 minutes
• Disconnect and then attempt to start your vehicle

Jump starting while connected to an AGM battery may permanently damage the battery.

The KickAss Portable Battery Box Power Station supports 12V deep cycle batteries up to 340mm long, 185mm wide, 235mm high, and weighing up to 35kg. Compatible chemistries include AGM, Calcium, Wet, Gel, and Lithium LiFePO4 batteries.
This flexibility allows you to choose from a wide range of popular deep cycle batteries, ensuring you can power your off-grid adventures reliably. The silicone mat and non-slip pads help secure the battery safely inside the box.

To set up your battery, place it centrally on the silicone non-slip pads, connect the red cable to the positive (+) terminal and black cable to the negative (-) terminal, then secure it with the velcro strap. Finally, tuck cables under the lid and fasten the lid with the 4 screws provided.
This straightforward installation ensures your battery is firmly held in place, preventing movement during transport. The lid must remain closed during operation for safety and optimal performance.
