The Ultra-X is built to grow with your power needs. Connect up to four batteries in parallel to build a 12V bank of up to 1840Ah, or wire them in series to create a 48V system at 460Ah. The Ultra-X gives you the flexibility to configure your system exactly the way you need it.
Whole-System Monitoring, No External Shunt Required
Monitoring a multi-battery setup usually means adding an external shunt to the equation, but not with the Ultra-X. Simply connect each battery using an RJ45 cable, and both the optional KickAss Remote Display Unit and the Bluetooth app can monitor the entire bank as a single unit. It rapidly recharges your battery from shore power via 2200W AC ultra-fast charging, with Bluetooth monitoring, plug-and-play install, built-in safety protection, and support for multiple battery chemistries.
The KickAss 3200W Bi-Directional Inverter-Charger delivers mains-quality power for larger setups and high-demand appliances. Combining a 3200W pure sine wave inverter with a 2200W AC ultra-fast charger, it provides both AC power and battery charging without the need for separate devices, additional wiring or extra installation space.
The 3200W pure sine wave inverter converts 12V DC battery power into clean, stable 230V AC power, making it suitable for demanding appliances, sensitive electronics, motor-driven equipment and inductive loads. When connected to shore power, the automatic transfer switch powers connected loads directly from the AC supply while the built-in 2200W AC charger provides up to 180A of charging current.
Bluetooth monitoring and control via the KA Charge app allows you to select battery chemistry, choose a charging mode, switch the unit on or off and view up to 32 hours of performance history. An optional remote switch with OLED display and LED indicators provides additional control and system status monitoring.
Dynamic power adjustment technology balances charging current against connected AC loads, helping keep equipment powered without overloading the available AC supply.
Plug-and-play AC connectivity includes an IEC input and two AC outlets, eliminating the need for hardwiring. Integrated RCBO protection provides overload and earth leakage protection, while intelligent variable-speed cooling fans help regulate operating temperature and minimise unnecessary fan noise.
The compact slimline design is suited to space-limited vehicle and off-grid installations. The unit supports LiFePO4, AGM, CAL and GEL battery chemistries and also includes a USB-A output for charging compatible phones, tablets and other devices.
Note: An additional switch panel must be purchased separately. Panels must be the same model to pair – for example, two 8-Gang panels or two 12-Gang panels. Different models cannot be synced together.

High current capability
The 8 Gang Switch Panel has a high current capability, and can handle up to 60A at either 12V or 24V. This means you can simultaneously use high and low current devices – for example a speaker, camping fridge, camping lights, winch, air compressor, etc.
Multi battery capability
The control box switch offers two options to obtain power: you can connect ACC (Accessory power) to the starter battery, or alternatively to the auxiliary battery. If you prefer to operate your electrical devices (for example your horn, lights, and radio) only in ACC mode, selecting the ACC setup allows you to do so.
IP65 Dust & Water Resistance Rating
With an IP65 rating, the 8 Gang Switch Panel is perfect for outdoor adventures. It can withstand some dust and moisture exposure and continue to function. It should not be submerged in water.
Double sided outlet
The switch panel features a current control box that splits the output into two sides, allowing for versatile wiring configurations and minimising wire clutter. It includes two 30A, two 20A, two 15A, and two 10A outlets, with one of each type on either side of the panel.
Prewired ACC fuse tap
The pre-wired ACC fuse adapter makes it easy to connect the control box to the vehicle’s fuse box, without having to cut, splice or damage the vehicle’s existing wiring. Quick, easy installation!
Enhanced safety features
The 8 Gang Switch Panel is equipped with a 60/80A circuit breaker, blade fuses (plus a spare), and compact solid-state relays. This protects the switch panel from damage caused by thermal, overload and over-currents.
Multiple mounting options
Comes with two bracket mounting options for the switch panel and control box. All essential mounting hardware is included, as well as instructions and suggestions for optimal placement within your vehicle.
Adjustable lighting & on/off switch
There are three lighting modes: a constant light, a momentary light, and strobe modes. You can also choose between five brightness levels, as well as a number of colours and a dedicated switch to turn the backlight on and off. Enjoy total control of your setup.
