Our newest KickAss store is officially open in Brendale, and if Saturday’s Grand Opening is anything to go by, Brisbane’s northside was more than ready for us!
The grand opening kicked off at 9am on Saturday, but the first campers set up outside the store from around 2pm on Friday afternoon, rolling out their swags and settling in for the night to make sure they were at the front of the queue.
By the time 9am rolled around, a huge line had formed outside the store, ready and waiting for the doors to open.
Packed and Pumping All Day
Once the doors opened, things didn’t slow down. The Brendale store was packed and pumping throughout the day, with customers checking out the new store, chatting with the team and making the most of our Store Mania Grand Opening deal, with 20% off all products.
The response was so big that by Sunday morning, we had to load up a backup trailer with extra stock from our warehouse and send it over to Brendale to make sure the shelves didn’t run dry! It was an incredible way to celebrate the opening of our 12th retail store and another big milestone as we continue bringing KickAss gear and expertise to more communities around Australia.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, whether you camped outside overnight, joined the queue on Saturday morning or dropped in throughout the weekend. The turnout exceeded our expectations, and it was fantastic to see the new store absolutely buzzing from the moment the doors opened.
