2 Watt Waterproof Handheld UHF CB Radio Single Pack

Keep in touch on the go with this 2 watt, handheld UHF CB radio (single pack). It’s rated waterproof to IPX7, and includes a flash and float feature so it won’t be lost should you drop it in mud or water. It’s light and portable, and allows you to keep in touch up for a radius of up to 10KM (note that this radius can vary depending on topographic & atmospheric conditions).

2 watt transmit power:  

The 2 watt transmit power strikes a balance between enabling a large communication range without draining the battery quickly. Perfect for communicating in rural areas without mobile reception.  

 

Waterproof rating IPX7 

A waterproof rating of IPX7 means the radio can be submerged in water up to one meter for 30 minutes without suffering any damage.  

 

Access 80 channels 

Speak to other radio-holders on any of the 80 channels. Easy, interference-free communication. 

 

Floats & flashes in water 

Should you drop it in water, the radio will float and flash, enabling you to find it easily even at night.  

 

Backlit display 

Read the info on your radio’s screen even in dark environments, thanks to the brightly backlit display. No more squinting at screens.  

 

Monitor feature 

When activated, the monitor function overrides any settings and allows the receiver to hear what’s happening on any frequency. On a clear frequency, you’ll hear a hiss. If a frequency is being used, you’ll hear whatever is being broadcast.  

 

Channel busy indicator 

The channel busy indicator lets you know when a channel is already in use.  

 

Channel scan 

Scanning between channels means the radio will sequentially listen to each channel available. Useful for searching for a particular broadcast, or to find available channels.  

 

Automatic squelch control 

The automatic squelch control is specially designed to suppress weak signals, so you won’t be distracted by unnecessary noise when the radio is not receiving a proper transmission.   

 

Micro USB jack for charging, plus 2.5mm jack for optional accessories 

Charge your radio and accessories with ease, using either the micro USB jack or the 2.5mm jack.  

 

Duplex (range extender) 

Your handheld radio can receive and transmit for a radius of up to 10km. Be aware that this 10km radius may vary depending on topographic & atmospheric conditions. 

 

Keypad lock 

The convenient keypad lock means you can avoid unintentionally pressing buttons and interrupting your transmission while using your radio.  

 

Dual watch 

Dual watch allows the radio to listen to two channels at the same time – the channel being used, plus another channel that has been set as the prioritised channel.  

 

Last channel memory 

When switched on, the radio will automatically re-tune itself to the last selected channel.  

 

Roger beep 

This tone is added automatically to the end of every transmission, to let the recipient know you’ve finished speaking.
