A built-in vent means that the battery supports AS/NZS 3001 compliant installations, while the rugged metal housing, IP65 rating and intelligent Battery Management System ensure reliable performance in harsh Australian conditions.
Bluetooth monitoring lets you check battery status, capacity, voltage, temperature and current directly from your smartphone, while the optional Remote Display provides the same information for those who prefer a dedicated screen. If you accidentally run your battery too flat, then the integrated Low Voltage Recovery (LVR) button makes it easy to reawaken the BMS after an over-discharge, helping you get back on the road with the touch of a button.
As your power needs grow, your battery system can grow with them. Connect up to four Ultra-X 300Ah lithium batteries in series or parallel to create a powerful battery bank, then monitor the entire system through the KickAss app or Remote Display without needing an external shunt. Bluetooth monitoring, plug-and-play install, built-in safety protection, and support for multiple battery chemistries make it a smart, space-saving upgrade for any setup.
The KickAss 2200W Bi-Directional Inverter-Charger delivers mains-quality power in a compact, all-in-one unit. Combining a 2200W pure sine wave inverter with an 1800W AC ultra-fast charger, it provides both AC power and battery charging without the need for separate devices, additional wiring or extra installation space.
The 2200W pure sine wave inverter converts 12V DC battery power into clean, stable 230V AC power, making it suitable for everyday appliances, sensitive electronics and motor-driven equipment. When connected to shore power, the built-in 1800W AC charger provides up to 135A of charging current.
Bluetooth monitoring and control via the KA Charge app allows you to select battery chemistry, choose a charging mode, switch the unit on or off and view up to 32 hours of performance history. An optional remote switch with OLED display and LED indicators provides additional control and system status monitoring.
Dynamic power adjustment technology prioritises available power to connected AC equipment, helping maintain operation when the incoming power supply fluctuates.
Plug-and-play AC connectivity includes an IEC input and two AC outlets, eliminating the need for hardwiring. Built-in RCBO protection provides overload and earth leakage protection, while intelligent variable-speed cooling fans help regulate operating temperature and minimise unnecessary fan noise.
The compact slimline design is suited to space-limited vehicle and off-grid installations. The unit supports LiFePO4, AGM, CAL and GEL battery chemistries and also includes a USB-A output for charging compatible phones, tablets and other devices.
Note: An additional switch panel must be purchased separately. Panels must be the same model to pair – for example, two 8-Gang panels or two 12-Gang panels. Different models cannot be synced together.

Rechargeable battery
The switch panel features a built-in rechargeable battery, so you won’t need to worry about the hassle or cost of replacing disposable batteries - just recharge it using the included USB cable.
The battery charges completely in 2-3 hours and can last up to 5-6 days on a full charge. You can easily monitor the battery status with the handy indicator, which clearly shows three separate levels: low, medium, and full.
High current capability
The 12 Gang Switch Panel delivers a high current capacity, managing up to 80A at both 12V and 24V. This allows you to run both high and low current devices at the same time, such as speakers, camping fridges, lights, winches, air compressors, and more.
Multi battery capability
The control box switch provides two power options: you can connect to either the starter battery via ACC (Accessory power) or to the auxiliary battery. If you want to run your electrical devices, such as your horn, lights, and radio, exclusively in ACC mode, choosing the ACC setup will enable you to do just that.
IP65 Dust & Water Resistance Rating
Encased in aluminium and rated IP65, the 12 Gang Switch Panel is built for outdoor adventures. It’s designed to handle some dust and moisture exposure, but should not be completely submerged in water.
Double sided outlet
The switch panel comes with a current control box that divides the output into two sections, offering flexible wiring options and reducing wire clutter. It includes five 30A, two 20A, two 15A, and three 10A outlets, with one of each type positioned on each side of the panel.
Prewired ACC fuse tap
The pre-wired ACC fuse adapter simplifies connecting the control box to your vehicle’s fuse box, eliminating the need for cutting, splicing, or damaging your existing wiring. Speedy, straightforward installation!
Enhanced safety features
The 12 Gang Switch Panel comes with a 60/80A circuit breaker, blade fuses (including a spare), and compact solid-state relays. These features safeguard the switch panel from any potential damage from thermal issues, overloads, and excessive currents.
Multiple mounting options
Includes two bracket mounting options for both the switch panel and control box. All necessary mounting hardware is provided, along with instructions and recommendations for the best placement within your vehicle.
Adjustable lighting & on/off switch
You have three lighting modes to choose from: steady light, momentary light, and strobe. Additionally, you can adjust the brightness across five levels, select from various colours, and use a dedicated switch to turn the backlight on or off.

This switch panel is designed for 12V and 24V Nominal DC electrical systems only. Do NOT connect it to any power source exceeding 24V DC. Using an input voltage higher than 24V may cause permanent damage to the switch panel and will void the warranty.

Only connect compatible output devices (such as lights, fridges and other 12V/24V accessories) to the panel's output ports. Do NOT connect input devices (such as battery chargers, solar panels or control signals), to the output ports. The switch panel is not designed for these connections.
