    Great Thermometer

    Perfect thermometer for having the control and readout display in the cabin of the car whilst the two zone fridge is in the back canopy. Appears to be very accuate as well. Better unit than the more expensive oppostion part.

The wireless sensors measure temperatures from -40Ā°C to 60Ā°C (-40Ā°F to 140Ā°F) with an accuracy of +/- 2Ā°C. The indoor display thermometer works between 0Ā°C and 50Ā°C (32Ā°F to 122Ā°F). This wide range and reliable accuracy make it perfect for monitoring fridges, freezers, wine cellars, and even rooms or RVs.
Can I use the KickAss Wireless Thermometer outside or in my RV?
Yes, the wireless thermometer sensors work well in covered exterior areas like outdoor porches and on the road in an RV. The indoor display and sensors communicate wirelessly without cords, allowing flexible placement in various environments.
How do I set up and start using the KickAss Dual Zone Wireless Thermometer?
Setup is quick and easy: insert batteries into the indoor display and both wireless sensors, then wait up to 5 minutes for the display to show temperatures. You can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit with the '+/Ā°C/Ā°F' button and place the sensors where needed.
How do I set temperature alarms on the KickAss Wireless Thermometer?
You can set custom alarms for each sensor by pressing and holding the relevant ALARM button for 5 seconds, then adjusting the maximum and minimum acceptable temperatures. If the temperature stays outside your set range for 10 minutes, the display sounds an alert.
What should I do if the wireless sensors lose connection with the display?
If the display shows flickering numbers or dashes (---), press and hold the CLEAR button on the display for 3 seconds until you hear a beep, then wait 2 minutes for the signal to reconnect.
How will I know when the batteries in the display or sensors are running low?
The display will show a low voltage battery icon to alert you when batteries need replacing. If sensors lose power or are out of range, the last known temperature will flash on the display until normal readings resume.
Is the KickAss Dual Zone Wireless Thermometer safe to use around food and household items?
Absolutely. The sensors are designed for safe use inside fridges, freezers, and wine cellars, and the indoor display is suitable for rooms and covered outdoor areas. Just avoid placing sensors near hot, humid, corrosive, or flammable items like ovens, barbecues, gasoline, or liquids.
Can I view temperature history and monitor multiple zones at once with this thermometer?
Yes, the indoor display shows current temperatures from both wireless sensors plus its own built-in thermometer. It also records and displays the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) temperatures over time for each sensor, helping you track trends.
