Description
The KICKASS team have done it again! A new design in Voltage Sensitive Relays unlike anything currently on the market!
A unique dual sensing VSR for charging an auxiliary battery system while ensuring that your vehicle's starter battery is isolated when there is no charge from the alternator. Quick connect anderson style plugs allow for easy installation, no hard wiring! Side moulded mounting points allow flexibility for installation whether it be under the bonnet or anywhere else in your 4wd, caravan or camper. The units are also water resistant and can even be used for marine applications.
The dual sensing function intelligently detects the charge of both the auxiliary and cranking batteries and allows for current to flow back in the case where the starting battery is low, or an external charger is connected to the auxiliary battery such as AC or Solar.
The VSR is also fitted with an override switch for those sticky situations when you're cranking battery has been discharged and you need to transfer charge back from you auxillary battery.

The KICKASS® MAXI Fuse Anderson Cable is the perfect solution for connecting a battery to virtually any device. It offers superior circuit protection through an inline 80A MAXI Fuse, safeguarding against short circuits and potential system damage.
With a purpose-designed length, this cable easily reaches vehicle starting batteries and integrates seamlessly with dual battery setups. The built-in weatherproof MAXI Fuse holder simplifies installation, eliminating the need for mounting traditional fuse holders or circuit breakers.
One end of the cable features a 50 Amp Anderson style connector for effortless connection to battery boxes, solar panels, or other compatible devices. The other end includes high-quality 8mm ring terminals for secure battery attachment. A spare 80A MAXI Fuse is included for added convenience.

The Basics on How It Works
When the vehicle's engine is running, the alternator charges the start battery. Once the start battery reaches 13.2V, the VSR connects both batteries, allowing them to charge simultaneously.
When the engine is off and charging stops, the start battery voltage drops. Once it falls below 12.8V, the VSR disconnects the batteries, preventing the auxiliary battery from draining the starter battery.
