Pure Sine Waveform

AC Automatic Transfer Switch

Simplify your off-grid setup with the integrated Automatic Transfer Switch. Power your AC devices from your battery bank, then seamlessly switch to mains power by plugging in the AC input cable. If mains power drops out, the inverter automatically switches back to battery power without interruption.

Multiple Protective Features

Multi-level safety protection uses both software and hardware safeguards to protect you, your inverter, and your devices. The system continuously monitors operation and automatically enters protection mode if necessary. Integrated Residual Current Devices (RCD) and Circuit Breakers (CB) provide added hardware protection, making it suitable for commercial and domestic use.

Optional Remote Control Display (Not Included in Base Version)

Enhance your setup with the optional remote display, allowing you to monitor and manage power usage remotely. The flush-mountable screen is low-profile and ideal for installation near your camp kitchen. It includes an integrated on/off switch for conserving battery power when the inverter is not in use.

The KickAss Smart Monitor Lite Shunt + Tank Sensor is a powerful, easy-to-use solution for monitoring your off-grid power and water systems. Designed for touring rigs, caravans and 4WD setups, it gives you clear, reliable insight into how your battery bank is performing, how long you can keep running your gear, and when it’s time to recharge or top up the tank.

At the heart of the system is a high-capacity 600A shunt that accurately measures charge and discharge current, battery voltage and State of Charge. This allows you to understand exactly what’s happening inside your battery bank, helping you manage power more efficiently and avoid unexpected shutdowns when running fridges, lighting, inverters and other essential off-grid equipment. As loads and charging sources change, the system continuously provides real-time calculations and updates how long your battery has left to run or how long it will take to recharge. This takes the guesswork out of power management and makes it easier to plan your usage while travelling off-grid.

The Smart Monitor Lite can also connect to your tank sensor or sender, allowing you to monitor both your battery data and water level from a single unit. It’s compatible with resistive and voltage-type tank senders and can be calibrated to suit virtually any tank size or shape.

Monitoring and setup are simple thanks to Bluetooth connectivity and the dedicated mobile app. View real-time voltage, current, power and State of Charge from your smartphone, configure battery and tank settings, and review historical performance data whenever you need it. For quick checks without reaching for your phone, the colour LCD remote display provides clear, at-a-glance system information right where you want it.

Installation and configuration are straightforward, even for more complex setups. The intuitive app interface guides you through setup with clear menus and prompts, making it easy to tailor the system to your specific battery chemistry and capacity. The shunt supports AGM, lithium and other common battery types, from small single-battery systems through to large dual-battery lithium banks.

Integrated data logging records voltage, current and temperature for up to 35 days, allowing you to review power usage trends over the course of a trip. With a wide input voltage range and flexible power options, the unit can be powered directly from the battery or an external supply and used with battery banks of any voltage. For added control and protection, the external relay output allows you to automate system behaviour based on voltage, current, power or temperature.

This 3-pin Anderson-style connector with built-in ignition wire makes connecting your 12V dual battery system easy. Perfect for wiring DC/DC chargers, battery boxes & auxiliary batteries.  

The KickAss 600A Smart Shunt Power Connections Kit is the perfect companion to your KickAss 600A Smart Shunt with Battery & Tank Monitor, designed to make installation quick, clean and easy. This purpose-built kit includes the main heavy-duty negative connection between your battery and shunt, along with the smaller positive and negative power cables required to run the shunt itself. With everything sized correctly and ready to go, it eliminates guesswork and ensures your monitoring system is powered safely and accurately from day one.

Built for serious off-grid and touring setups, the kit features a rugged 95mm² negative hookup cable designed to handle high-current loads with minimal voltage drop.
