The all-new KickAss Super Thin 12V 200W Solar Panel Range is revolutionising the 12V portable solar panel market.
Constructed from A-Grade Monocrystalline Solar Cells and a 17mm lightweight aluminium frame, KickAss has created an exceptional 200W solar panel designed to travel Australia with you.
The Frame:
- Hail-proof and shockproof—ideal for rugged Australian conditions.
- 100% weatherproof, including the pre-wired (and bypassable) PWM solar controller mounted on the back of the panel.
- Built with stainless steel and aluminium fittings to prevent rust damage.
- Features a smart magnet system to keep the panel closed—no bulky latches required.
- Constructed using 1.2mm fibreglass, heat-resistant PCB backing for long-term durability and sag resistance.
- Simple to set up, pack down, and carry—ideal for camping power setups.
The Solar Cells:
High-efficiency A-Grade Monocrystalline Solar Cells provide up to 20% solar efficiency.
The Solar Controller:
Waterproof PWM Solar Controller with Anderson-style plugs connects directly to AGM, Lead Acid, Gel, Calcium, and Lithium batteries. Easily bypass the controller if using an existing system or a KickAss DCDC Battery Box with built-in MPPT.
The Extras:
Includes a high-quality, heavy-duty carry bag with YKK zips. Packs down smaller and weighs over 50% less than most metal-frame panels. Impact-resistant and shatterproof—ideal for portable, heavy-duty camping use.

Overal very happywith this product. The physical size and weight are ideal for my vehicle and camping style. The storage bag appears solid enough to last for a number of years with a little care in use. The panels seem very well assembled and sturdy. I tested the panel to charge a aging AGM battery I have in the workshop. Mid march on a sunny day and the panel was actually producing 1 full amp more than the rating. I was super pleased to see that as I will be using this panel to charge 165Ah LiFo4 battery in the Landcruiser when stationary camping.
