The KickAss Powerboost 1500 Portable Car Jump Starter delivers a start current of 1500A and a peak current of 3000A, designed to jump start 12V lead acid batteries down to 2V. This means it can reliably start most cars, SUVs, and light trucks with ease.
This jump starter is ideal for a wide range of vehicles, providing enough power to get you back on the road quickly. It also features built-in safety protections to prevent damage and ensure reliable performance every time you need a jump start.

Yes, the Powerboost 1500 includes USB C PD output with up to 60W max power and two USB A outputs (18W and 12W max), allowing you to charge smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other USB devices efficiently.
This dual functionality makes it a versatile companion for adventures or emergencies, letting you keep your essential electronics powered up while off-grid or on the go.

Using a 60W PD wall adapter (not included) and the supplied 60W silicone cable, the Powerboost 1500 takes approximately 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%. Full charging time will vary slightly depending on the power supply used.
For best results, fully charge the unit before first use and recharge it every three months to maintain battery health. Avoid charging and discharging the unit simultaneously to preserve battery life.

Connect the battery clamps to the 12V output port, then attach the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal or vehicle chassis. Turn on the jump starter power button before attempting to start your vehicle.
Make sure all vehicle power loads are off before use, and disconnect clamps in reverse order after jump starting. The device includes multiple safety protections and will stop operation if temperature limits are exceeded, ensuring safe and reliable use.

You can perform up to three jump starts within a 15-minute period. After that, the Powerboost 1500 requires a 15-minute rest before attempting another jump start to protect the battery and internal components.
This design prevents overheating and ensures consistent jump starting performance, giving you peace of mind that the unit won’t fail during critical moments.

The unit is not intended for use by children or individuals without experience and knowledge of jump starting. Children should always be supervised around the device.
However, the jump starter’s built-in 100% maximum safety protection features, including automatic shutdown in unsafe conditions, make it a secure tool when operated correctly, providing confidence and peace of mind.

If the temperature exceeds 55°C or drops below -10°C, the unit will automatically stop functioning and display a warning icon flashing every second.
This temperature protection prevents damage and ensures user safety. Simply allow the unit to return to a safe temperature range before resuming use, so you can rely on it whenever you need it.

Clean the unit with a damp cloth only, ensuring it is switched off and disconnected from power before cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, and make sure all components are dry before storage.
Regular gentle cleaning and proper storage will maintain the device’s appearance and functionality, helping it stay ready for your next adventure or emergency.
