KickAss 12V/24V Electric Blanket Feature Overview

3 timer settings – 45, 90 or 120 minutes

The blanket offers three timing settings, and you can choose to keep it heated for 45, 90 or 120 minutes. That way you won’t need to worry about accidentally leaving it on, draining your battery, or overheating while you sleep.

Bilateral wired controller

The bilateral wired controller provides a more stable connection, so you can rest easy knowing your blanket’s heat supply is safe and reliable.

Inbuilt safety thermometer

As an added safety precaution, the blanket’s inbuilt thermometer will turn the blanket off if the temperature reaches 65⁰C, ensuring you don’t get overheated during the night.

Detachable controller

Need to wash your blanket? No problem! Simply remove the detachable controller, and the blanket can go in your washing machine. Easy!

Compatible with 12V and 24V

For added versatility, the blanket is compatible with both 12V and 24V electrical systems. Ideal for truck drivers or those with larger vehicles and batteries.

The KickAss Electric Blanket uses 50 watts of power with a maximum current of 4.2 amps and measures 140 x 100 cm (55” x 39”). It is made from 100% polyester and plugs into a 12V or 24V DC power outlet with an 8 amp fuse for protection.

Yes, the blanket is compatible with any fused 12V or 24V DC power outlet, such as a vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket. It includes a 24V / 12V DC adapter with an 8 amp glass fuse to protect both the blanket and your vehicle’s electrical system.

The blanket features a smart controller with three heat levels indicated by red, yellow, and green LEDs for high, medium, and low settings. When plugged in, all three LEDs flash once, and pressing the control button cycles through the heat levels.

The blanket is not recommended for children under three years, pets, or anyone unable to unplug it if needed. However, it includes built-in safety features like an 8 amp fuse, automatic shut-off timers, and a controller matched specifically to the blanket to prevent overheating.

To clean, disconnect the controller and power cord before washing. Machine wash gently in cold water with mild soap for two minutes, then rinse and hang dry completely. Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean the blanket.

If the blanket isn’t heating, first check that the plug is fully inserted into a working 12V or 24V outlet, and that the vehicle ignition is on or in accessory mode. Also inspect the fuse in the 24V / 12V DC auto adapter and replace it if blown.

The blanket is designed for safe use up to two hours continuously, with automatic shut-off timers at 45, 90, or 120 minutes to prevent overheating. This feature protects both you and the blanket while providing consistent warmth.

To detach the plug, lift the tab on the blanket’s plug and pull the cord and plug in opposite directions until separated. To attach, line up the button on the cord with the hole on the plug tab and press until you hear a click confirming a secure connection.
