Big news for Gold Coast adventurers, campers, caravanners and off-grid enthusiasts – the newest KickAss Experience Store has officially arrived at Currumbin Waters, and it’s our biggest store yet.
After months of planning and setup, the grand opening event took place on Saturday, May 9, and completely exceeded expectations. From before sunrise, customers were lining up outside the new store, eager to be among the first through the doors and score one of the $100 gift cards handed out to the first 50 customers.
By the time opening rolled around, the queue stretched down the road.
And from there, the day only got bigger.
The atmosphere was absolutely electric as crowds came all day long to check out the newest addition to the KickAss family. Customers travelled from all across the Gold Coast and beyond to browse the range, grab some bargains, and experience the brand-new mega store for themselves. Safe to say – it was officially our biggest new store opening ever.
This new Currumbin Waters location is more than just another retail store. It’s a true KickAss flagship destination.

Outside the store, the grand opening celebrations were in full swing all day long. Customers enjoyed a BBQ and coffee van while soaking up the atmosphere, with Triple M radio broadcasting live from the event and helping keep the energy high throughout the day.
One of the standout parts of the opening was seeing so many people getting hands-on with the products and chatting directly with our team of 12V specialists. The Experience Store concept is all about helping customers feel confident in their setup, ask technical questions, compare products side-by-side, and get genuine advice from people who live and breathe off-grid adventures.
