The KICKASS® MAXI Fuse Anderson Cable is the perfect solution for connecting a battery to virtually any device. It offers superior circuit protection through an inline 80A MAXI Fuse, safeguarding against short circuits and potential system damage.

With a purpose-designed length, this cable easily reaches vehicle starting batteries and integrates seamlessly with dual battery setups. The built-in weatherproof MAXI Fuse holder simplifies installation, eliminating the need for mounting traditional fuse holders or circuit breakers.

One end of the cable features a 50 Amp Anderson style connector for effortless connection to battery boxes, solar panels, or other compatible devices. The other end includes high-quality 8mm ring terminals for secure battery attachment. A spare 80A MAXI Fuse is included for added convenience.

Introducing the ultimate dual battery system wiring kit, now featuring a three-pin 50 Amp Anderson-style connector with ignition wire. The team at KickAss has carefully developed this premium plug-and-play wiring kit for ultra-easy DIY installations. It’s packed with high-quality components to ensure your setup is smooth and professional.

The kit is fully plug-and-play for any system using Anderson connectors for charging input and includes everything needed for a professional wiring installation. It now comes with our famous Maxifuse cable pre-installed into 6 metres of heavy-duty 8 B&S cable, providing 50A of circuit protection. The new three-pin Anderson plug allows for easier installation by integrating an ignition wire directly into the connector—eliminating the need to run multiple cables through your vehicle.

The cable is pre-crimped with Anderson connector terminals, making it simple to feed through holes and grommets. Once installed, you just clip on the three-pin Anderson connector. The kit also includes cable ties for securing cables, a spare 80A Maxifuse, a 3-metre ignition tail wire, and spare Anderson terminals.

Backwards Compatibility

The three-pin Anderson connector is backwards compatible, allowing a two-pin Anderson connection to work even if the ignition wire is not connected.

The KickAss Premium DC-DC wiring kit is specifically designed for our DC-DC chargers and is not compatible with VSRs.

KICKASS® Low Voltage Disconnect – Easy Plug & Play Installation

Protect your valuable batteries from over-discharge with this simple-to-install Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD) featuring Anderson-style connectors. No need for hardwiring—just plug it in and go.

Once connected, the LVD will allow output power to run your load as normal. An LED indicator shows your battery’s state of charge while discharging. When the voltage drops to 11V, the LVD will disconnect the load to protect the battery. It will only reconnect once the battery voltage reaches 13V, confirming it's been sufficiently recharged.

3-Way Switch Modes

• Normal: Disconnects the load at 11V. A 60-second low voltage alarm sounds before disconnection. The device reconnects once 13V is detected.
• Alarm Mute: Operates the same as Normal Mode but disables the low voltage alarm.
• Override: Bypasses voltage sensing and connects the battery directly to the load without protection. Only use this mode in emergency situations.

KickAss DCDC Features

Three Pin Anderson Style Connector
Easily connect your 12V DCDC Charger with the new three-pin Anderson connection, combining positive alternator, negative ground, and ignition wires. Fully compatible with standard two-pin Anderson connectors.

Lithium BMS Sleep Mode Recovery Feature
In Lithium Mode, if the battery drops below safe voltage and enters sleep mode, the charger will initiate recovery mode. It will trickle charge until the cut-in voltage is reached, then resume normal charging. This function helps revive lithium batteries protected by a built-in Battery Management System (BMS).

The charger will display fault codes for open circuit output if the battery is asleep. To attempt recovery, you must select 'LITHIUM' using the 'MODE' button before connecting the charger.

How to wake a lithium battery:

1. Disconnect all loads from the lithium battery.
2. Connect alternator or solar input to the DCDC Charger.
3. Connect the output from the charger to the battery.
4. The charger will flash all battery types; BULK and PULSE LEDs stay lit for 30 seconds before Recovery Mode starts.
5. When the source (e.g. Solar) is active and LITHIUM flashes, recovery is in progress.
6. Once voltage recovers, the charger resumes normal operation and loads can be reconnected.
